End Small Business Regulations
As a small business owner I know what it is like to bring a passion to fruition. I stand firmly on the side of small business owners in Weymouth and oppose fees and regulations that keep them from doing business in the community. Talented people should not have to jump through hoops to bring their goods or services to the community.
Many local small businesses and trades have expressed the excessive costs, regulations, that impede being competitive in doing business in Massachusetts. Many of these talented and successful people and businesses have decided to close or move out of state. I want to change this.
No Gas Tax
I strongly oppose a gas tax of any type including the Transportation & Climate Initiative (TCI) passed in early August month by the Massachusetts House of Representatives.
No Compressor Station
I am against the proposed natural gas compressor station in North Weymouth.
Support Local Police
As a resident and a father I stand behind the local and state police and their efforts to keep the citizens of Weymouth and surrounding communities safe. I respect and honor the hard work of the men and women of the Weymouth Police Department and continue to support them.
Enhance Business and Employment Opportunities
Supporting small local businesses also supports more local jobs. Decreasing fees and regulations will also help increase employment opportunities at those businesses. This has a direct positive impact on the town as a whole and their immediate neighborhoods. This is especially important during and after the pandemic when so much has been lost.
